Back in the "Hood"

Yesterday when I got home from work it was such a beautiful day out that I decided to take the dog on a walk. This was quite the feat for me because those of you who know me well, know that I do not voluntarily spend time out in the cold, due to the fact that I hate it. (cold is anything below 60 degrees!) However I bundled up with my warmest down jacket and grabbed the leash and on our way we went.

In my brief time away from Farmington, I had forgotten how beautiful it is, and how much I absolutely love living here. The tall trees that line all the streets, the quiet peacefulness of down town, living within walking distance to Farmington pond and Farmington canyon. I had forgotten how nice it is to have and to be a neighbor to someone.

I love all of the unique houses that line the streets, none of them are the same, they have so much character, and each has its own story to tell. I've been on dozens of walks all over Farmington in the time that we have lived there and each time I see something new that I hadn't noticed before.

I'm so glad to be back in the "hood" again, and I'm so glad that we made the decision to stay in Farmington!
