It's happening...

The leaves are changing and fall is coming. To me THIS is the most wonderful time of the year!! Pumpkins, the crisp air, hoodies and sweaters, apple juice, bright brilliant colors, the smell in the air, and lots and lots of leaves. Ahh sweet bliss.

Jam

As I sat eating pancakes covered in homemade strawberry freezer jam a smile spread over my face as I remembered making the jam.

I came home from work not to long ago to find some of my most favorite people sitting in my kitchen laughing and up to there elbows in the strawberry goo that would become our Jam. It was my first jam making experience and I so enjoyed learning from the women who have impacted my life so much already.

I knew that that it would be that last time that we would all be together for a while and that made it all the more special.

Grandma, Mom, Kate, and Shel I will always think of you with fond memories every time I have strawberry Jam.

Homework

"The behavior change project"

  1. Pick one behavior you would like to change.
  2. Journal about predisposing, enabling and reinforcing factors that are influencing you and what behavior change techniques you used 3x a week for 4 months.
  3. Write a final paper on you findings, successes, and failures

The problem...

  1. As you can probably tell from the sporadic blogging I am NOT good at keeping a journal! (perhaps I should make THAT the behavior change)
  2. I have to pick just ONE behavior to change. Sadly there are so many!!
  3. Do I go for the easy route (ie food, exercise, journaling) or do I go the hard route and pick something that I would really struggle with but most likely REALLY benefit from in the end?

What would YOU choose?
