Seasonal Pet Peeve...

I don't know why it is bothering me this year, it has never bothered me in years past. This year for some reason it seems as though every time I decide to listen to Christmas music on the radio it is ALWAYS Neil Diamond singing.

Why does this bother me you ask... well because I love Christmas music because of the spirit and feeling that it brings, and it REALLY bothers me to hear someone who doesn't even believe in Christ or celebrate Christmas belting out "Hark the Herald Angels Sing."

Have a little pride and dignity for your convictions man! There are plenty of other Christmas songs that you could sing i.e. Jingle bells, Silver Bells, Frosty the Snow Man, Heck Adam Sandler even wrote is own song, or there is always the Dreydl song.

So to the Neil Diamonds out there I say "have a little respect!"

Best Primary Program Ever!!

Last Sunday was our wards primary program, and I have to say that it was one of the best programs I've seen.

I thoroughly enjoyed WatChiNG it from the congregation for the first time in 4 years. Perhaps nursery has it's perks after all! :)

I know that I haven't posted in a while, I guess it goes with the whole good, better and best theory. While posting is good unfortunately it loses out to school and work. My schedule these days consists of the following...

5:00 am wake up and get ready
5:30 am Leave for work
6:00-11:30 am Work
11:30-12:30 pm class
12:30-5:00pm More work
6:00-9:00 pm class

Sleeping and actually sitting down to eat (other than the car) have become luxuries these days. My spare time is spent studying, and trying to spend quality time (since obviously quantity time is out) with my sweet husband. "Livin for the weekend" has taken on a whole new meaning in our house.

I feel grateful for the opportunity that I have to complete my degree and the desire to do so, and I also feel very blessed, as I'm sure we all do these days, that Aaron and I have been blessed with good jobs, and an employer that is economically sound.

I guess I just forgot how busy life gets sometimes.
